OUR 4-STAR ELECTRIC STORY

When we founded 4-Star Electric in 1989, we knew we wanted to build something special— a business that would brighten the lives of families for generations to come.

We believed we could create a truly excellent electrical service company, one that would allow us to provide for our family and deliver exceptional value to our community.

So, 4-Star Electric was born—right out of our family home! John provided the electrical service while Irene acted as our part-time bookkeeper while still working her most demanding job… Raising our four young boys!

About ‘That’ Name

People sometimes ask why we’re called “4-Star” Electric, rather than “5-Star” Electric. The truth is, the name has a special meaning to our family. The “4 stars” represent our four sons—Denny, Dustin, Denver, and Dallas, two of whom are now thoroughly involved in the company’s operations.

Plus, back when we started in the ‘80s, four stars was the highest rating you could get! Yes, we’ve been in business for more than 35 years—and we started long before the internet came along and made five stars the new standard.

What matters most, though, isn’t our name—it’s the trust we’ve built with home and business owners. Our clients tell us they choose us because of our reputation and our three decades of proven reliability. (Over 1,100 Google reviews from referral recommendations from satisfied customers don’t hurt, either.)
